The Guesthouse East
The Wednesday group meet at 730pm at The Guesthouse East, courtesy of Carl and Sarah, the lovely owners. The Guesthouse East is at 13 Hartington Place. Training takes place on the seafront, in the gardens opposite the Grand, or at the Hollow – come along and try out a session for free before joining.
The purpose of these sessions is to help you run faster! For beginners these sessions work well as a walk/run programme. For advanced runners, you will notice a real difference in your pace when you train at this high intensity once a week. Make sure you plan a recovery day for Thursday.

Circuits is great for general fitness and a fantastic supplement to a runner’s training programme. Circuits increases strength, helps with fatigue resistance and boosts lactate threshold. If you want to tone up, and improve your whole body power and strength, but at the same time not lose out on endurance training, give it a go. You’ll love the Mike experience – an ex Navy man who likes to indulge his clients in a bit of military-style training!
